You don’t have to face foreclosure alone.

Falling behind on mortgage payments and facing foreclosure can be a terrible feeling, one that most people would rather not think about. It can happen for a variety of reasons: your job might transform or disappear, your family may change, or a health crisis can strain your budget – things that can be hard to plan for.

Are you behind on your mortgage payments or at risk of falling behind? Even if you haven’t missed a payment yet, the sooner you seek help, the more options you’ll have.

At NHS, we have highly trained advisors who will work with you to find a solution. We help you explore options like mortgage modification and refinance and other solutions that can help you stay in your home. Though the Federal programs Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) and Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) have expired, there are still many options for preventing foreclosure.
Our HUD-approved foreclosure prevention counselors can:

  • Explain and answer questions about the foreclosure process and identify solutions that may be available to you
  • Explain your rights as a homeowner during the foreclosure process
  • Give you personalized information and create a plan based on your unique situation and needs
  • Communicate with your lender on your behalf

Our services are free of charge. Our goal is the best possible outcome for you, our customer, and our information and advice are unbiased.
